HOW to get to the castle.
Cars and buses
The direction from Prague (Praha) and Hradec Králové - turn in Třebechovice to Opočno and Dobruška to the road number 298.
(Pay attention! The underpass in the village Očelice is only 3,3 m hight. For double deckers and high buses we recommend to turn on the road number 11 in Týniště nad Orlicí to the road number 304 to Opočno).
In Opočno follow the main road to Kupka's sguare (Kupkovo náměstí) take the sharp turning to the right, pass bus stops and the Townhall. Park your car in Kupka´s square (Kupkovo náměstí) and walk straight on to Castle street (Zámecká ulice) and along the park wall to Trčka's square (Trčkovo náměstí).
The direction from Náchod and Rychnov nad Kněžnou - on the road number 298. In Opočno turn left before going to Kupka's square (Kupkovo náměstí). Walk straight on to Castle street (Zámecká ulice) and along the park wall to Trčka's square (Trčkovo náměstí).

CAR PARKING
You can park your car in Kupka´s square (Kupkovo náměstí). The car park is run by Opočno Townhall.
BUS PARKING
After the passengers´ getting off the bus on the Kupka´s square (Kupkovo náměstí), you can park here: park I., park II.
Public bus transport
Bus stops are in Kupka's sguare (Kupkovo náměstí) about 200 m from the castle.
Railway transport
You can come from two directions - from Týniště nad Orlicí (Hradec Králové, Choceň, Letohrad) and from Náchod. Opočno railway station is about 3 km away from the castle. The bus connection between the railway station and the town is very limited, mainly on Saturdays and Sundays. Get information directly at the firm which run the transport.
