Opočno Castle is not a wheelchair accessible monument. Of the accessible rooms, only the opening "African Hall" with African collections is wheelchair accessible. The stairs are a barrier to visiting the castle interiors of the first and second floor.
A toilet for people with reduced mobility is part of the visitor's facilities in the first courtyard.
Both courtyards of the castle are barrier-free. Visitors enter the grounds from Trčkov Square. The surface of the access road from the entrance gate and the first courtyard of the castle is flat and solid, covered with fine gravel. Courtyard II (arcade) is paved with flat stone slabs. When entering the arcade galleries, it is necessary to climb a low step (up to 10 cm).
Visitors with disabilities in wheelchairs can see the castle park with the exteriors of the palm greenhouse (orangery) and the summer palace. Entrance to the park from the courtyard is by a stone staircase - it is possible to enter the park from Zámecká Street.
